Fixed Cameras				Refers to Gatso, Truvelo, SPECS, Speedmaster, DS2 and all other permanent safety cameras.
Possible Mobile Cameras				Refers to sites where mobile enforcement may be in operation.
Red Light Cameras				Refers to cameras positioned at traffic lights that can monitor speed as well as violation of the traffic signal at the traffic light.

Speed Sensitive Mute				The detector will give an over-speed warning in close proximity to the camera if exceeding the speed limit, but will automatically mute when within the speed limit.
Direction Sensitive Alerts				The detector will not generate false alerts, indicating the presence of cameras on the offside.
Road Specific Activation (RSA)				The driver is advised of only cameras on the road they are driving along, thereby negating false alerts.
Simple Zonal Alert (SZA)	N/A		N/A	Typically used by lower cost products, drivers are notified *anytime* they enter a circular region around a camera, regardless of their direction or the road they are traveling upon. This type of operation can result in many false alerts for the driver.
Accident Black Spots				The driver is advised as they approach accident blackspots.
Accurate Speed Reading				The detector displays the true speed of the vehicle. The indicated speed shown by the Talex (or any GPS based device) may differ from the speedometer by 5% to 10%. It is normal for car manufacturers to over calibrate the speedometers.
Time when stationary				The time of day is displayed using a 12h clock.
Date when stationary				The date is displayed as Month:Day
User Position Saved Facility				Drivers can save a location as they drive, the unit will alert the driver when passing the location in future.
School Positions				Announces close proximity to schools Monday - Friday 07:00 - 18:30.
Congestion Charging Zone Alert				Notifies drivers when they enter a Congestion Zone during operational hours.
SOS Positioning				Displays the current location as Latitude and Longitude, which can be relayed to the emergency services or breakdown authorities.
Height Above Sea Level				Displays the current GPS height above sea level in meters.
Compass Bearing				Displays the current heading of vehicle when it is in motion.
Average Journey Speed				Displays the average speed for the current journey (Reset when power is removed)
Maximum Journey Speed				Displays the maximum speed for the current journey (Reset when power is removed)
Trip Meter				Displays the distance of the current journey (Reset when power is removed)
